Extraordinary fusion of “masculine” sound of the bandoneon and “feminine” forces of the female string quartet. The most beautiful tangos composed by Astor Piazzolla resound in a special way on February 14th in Centrum Sztuki Mościce.
Bandoneon virtuoso Klaudiusz Baran – great connoisseur of tango music, extremely active soloist and chamber musician will introduce the audience dark and mysterious world of Argentine streets and alleys, where tango is danced until dawn. He will be accompanied with extremely well-liked by the audience, female String Quartet ‘Con Affetto’ – Angelina Kierońska – I violin, Alice Soboń – II violin, Karolina Stasiowska – viola and Anna Podkościelna-Cyz – cello. You will also be able to admire a dance couple performing tango nuevo.
February 14th is the perfect time to get carried away with the music of Piazzolla, who is known as THE KING OF TANGO. Connaisseurs says that “When you dance a tango, it’s like … you tell lifestory.”
